“How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation and says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7 NASB

footmassageAs we take that first step over the threshold into the unknown, we glance downwards to see if we are on sure footing, solid ground. Depending upon who you are listening to, you may feel fearful and faint. May I suggest that you look long and hard at your feet and not the path. If you try to look ahead, you may see mountains that seem formidable, impossible to climb.

Many of us fall into the category of loving a pedicure. How wonderful it makes us feel when our feet have been bathed and massaged and toenails trimmed and glistened. We feel confident and our step is sure.

Listen to what the watchman for Israel says about beautiful feet and get a spiritual pedicure this day. We plan to bring you good news this year. It will bring peace to your ears and eternal happiness. “What is this good news”? It is the message that the God of Israel (Zion) reigns!

We invite you to follow us closely as we peer with confidence into who is the God of Israel, who are His people and what should we know about His land.

We believe that as He permits us to “bare His holy arm” (reveal His strength and power) in the sight of all the nations, that, as the Scripture promises, “all the ends of the earth may see the salvation of our God.” (Isaiah 52:10)

“Now, oh God of Israel, go before us as well as behind us, to be our rear guard. Lead us in the days ahead as sheep of Your pasture. Enable us to follow to green pastures which will nourish and still waters which will restore. Reveal Yourself to us that we might truly know You. With Your strong arm, defend Your people from oppression and deliver us from evil through Jesus the Anointed One, Amen.”

Remember to “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem!” Psalm 122:6
