BEFORE HIS THRONE PRAYER REQUESTS

praise3“From the moment we wake until we fall asleep, we must command our loved ones wholly and unreservedly to God, and leave them in His hands; transforming our anxiety for them into prayers on their behalf.”
Dietrich Bonhoeffer, theologian

LET’S UNITE OUR PRAYERS AND STORM HEAVEN ON THEIR BEHALF! LET’S PRAY UNTIL WE SEE A VICTORY!
Philippians 4:6-7

THANK YOU FOR PRAYING
FOR THE FOLLOWING…

2/5/10 Emergency Prayer for Todd – (This is how it came in to us): “Trudie’s brother, Todd, who lives with Trudie and her family has become terribly ill and is hospitalized.  I don’t know the nature of his illness or condition other than it is grave.  Please lift them up in prayer and ask God for healing. ” Will give update as we get it.  UPDATE: Todd was diagnosed with viral meningitis and may have pneumonia. He rallied for a bit but seems to be going downhill now. Please pray for his health and salvation.

2/23/10 Charla just returned from the doctor with a diagnosis of extreme hypothyroidism, with her numbers way off the charts. Her thyroid is so under-active that it is not functioning at all and the doctor has run out of medications that will work and Charla’s system doesn’t reject. Her doctor doesn’t know how she’s walking around and still functioning or that she’s alive at all. She asked us to pray for a miracle. Pray, too, that the Lord would give the doctor wisdom to find a way to treat her and for Charla’s comfort, strength, and walk in God’s perfect peace.

2/9/10 In the past, we’ve prayed for “Art and Joy” until Art’s death in November. Joy is asking for prayer that she can make it through each new day. She’s really struggling as she faces life without her husband even though she’s completely trusting Jesus, her Lord and Savior.

1/15/10 Please be in prayer for Stacey Frazier. She just had surgery for a returning cancer in her right pelvic area. She is asking for prayer in the following way: God’s peace and a positive outcome from this surgery, removal of all the cancer and that it will not come back, blood vessels and nerves will be unaffected by the cancer and that she will continue to have the use of her leg, doctors and staff would be guided by the Lord’s wisdom and hands, no infections, and side effects from anesthesia and medications will be minimal.

1/1/10 Anonymous – “I have been asking God for a miracle to bring my baby home from a foreign country. I adopted her and then had to leave her in an orphanage because of issues with her visa. I have not gotten any hope so far that I will be able to bring her home and I miss her so. If God could grant a miracle it would be here. This is miracle material.”

12/01/09 Sandy has requested prayer for her marriage. She is in need of a miracle. They have been married for 3 years and her husband suffers from depression. There have been wonderful times when he is himself but it isn’t that often. She feels so alone at times and the Lord has helped her get through. Her husband just left her and she doesn’t know when he is coming back. Sandy is a believer and she believes in marriage. She has faith but feels lost and alone. Please pray for God’s good and perfect will to be done in their lives and in their marriage. Sandy is really hurting and can’t sleep. Please, please pray. On-going prayer request.

11/04/09 Ann requests prayer for her son, Joseph, is at marine boot camp in California. For the 13 weeks he will be there (from when this prayer request was sent), they are praying for strength, protection, courage, grace, and favor. UPDATE 2/10/10: Joseph graduated from boot camp on Jan 29th! He was able to come home for a few days, and is now in a School for Infantry Training for 7 weeks. After that, he will most likely be deployed. The experience continues to bring his family to their knees, which is a good thing. They are all learning Psalm 91 more and more. Continue to pray for Joseph, along with all the men and women serving in the military and pray that God would give each a hunger for the Lord.

please pray for him, and her too for rest so she can care for him, and continue to work etc.
thanks, carol

dave9/3/09 Barb (CCF Contributor) has requested prayer for her beloved, pastor husband of over 50 years. Dave (a believer) had colon cancer a while back and went into remission. However, a biopsy confirmed new cancer sites in his lung, a result of metastasis from the colon cancer. No cure. No treatment recommended, except chemo which might or might not buy him some time. The doctor said surgery is not an option, nor is radiation. Barb says, “We shall not give up praying that the Lord would intervene, however. ALL things are possible with the Lord.” She asks that they will be able to have some quality time together and Dave will choose best how to use this time he has left and that their family will be strengthened to let him go. Barb continues, “God is our refuge and strength, a very PRESENT help in trouble. Pray we will demonstrate the grace of God in all the difficulties we will be facing. Thank you.” (This is an on-going prayer request.)

UPDATE 1/21/10: “In November he had a CT scan which showed no new growth of the lung tumors. Thank you for praying. He is on another four rounds of chemo, then they will do another scan. He is working at the church and feeling reasonably good, and we are very grateful for this calm interlude.” – Barb, Dave’s wife

Then, remember to pray for…
the Body of Christ, the Peace of Jerusalem, our Military & the Leaders of our Country

It matters not your political affiliation or who you voted for. As Christians we have a moral and spiritual responsibility to pray for those in authority over our land. Too many complain about the leadership of our country without falling to their knees first.

We live in uncertain times (2 Timothy 3:1-9) and it is imperative that we pray for our elected leaders; the President, Vice President, and others in high office. Pray for their safety and the safe-keeping of their families. Pray, even more, that they earnestly seek the One, True, Living God and the Truth of His Word, to guide their decisions as they lead our great land; decisions that line up with His will and not as the world would demand. Pray that God would raise up believers around the globe to be unified in purpose; lifting our voices on behalf of those in authority as we’ve never done before. Then, pray for the peace of Jerusalem for it will be then that we see the return of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

“I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come in a knowledge of the truth.” I Timothy 2:1-4

“Obey the government, for God is the one who put it there. All governments have been placed in power by God…The authorities are sent by God to help you… are established by God … So you must obey the government for two reasons: to keep from being punished and to keep a clear conscience.” Romans 13:1, 2, 4-5

GOD IS, AND ALWAYS WILL BE, SOVEREIGN!
HE IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY OVER EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE!
Now, that’s a PRAISE!

I love Before His Throne and how it is written. I will print it and pray for those requests. I’m glad you gave directions on how to submit prayer requests. The bible verses are always a blessing and I’m glad to see so many of them throughout your articles.

Many people are trying to sell houses these days, so I feel slightly selfish in requesting you to pray that our home sells. But, that is what I am asking. Please go before our all powerful and loving Father God and ask Him to find a buyer for our home if He desires that we move.

We have been married for 3 years and my husband suffers from depression. There have been wonderful times when he is himself but it isn’t that often. I feel so alone at these times and the Lord has helped me get through. My husband has left me and I don’t know when he is coming back. I don’t know what to do because I am a true believer and I believe in marriage. I have faith but I feel lost and alone at this time and in great need of some promising words of advice from you wonderful ladies that pray. Please pray for my husband to come back soon. I miss him alot. It’s only been a couple of days but he has no disire to come home and I don’t even know if he is seeing someone else. I know I have no control but it hurts so deep. I can’t even sleep. I have to go to work in the morning. It’s so hard to concentrate on work when my marriage is falling apart. Please, please pray. I appreciate it
