A Personal Note on End Time Prophecy: Matthew 24:42 and Matthew 25:13 remind us that we do not know the day or hour of Christ’s return. However, we should always be ready for He very well could come at any time. Based on my understanding of God’s Word (and as it lines up with most annointed teachers of end-time prophecy), all prophecy that was to be fulfilled before the rapture has already taken place (in other words, there is nothing standing in the way for the rapture to occur) and world events are lining up with Scripture as we have never seen before. (Keep your eyes on Israel!) There is still some unfulfilled prophecy, but it will take place during and after the tribulation period.

Do not be like the foolish virgins in Matthew 25:1-12 who were not prepared. Instead, live in eager anticipation as if He were going to return today. But, should God tarry so that more will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, continue living for His glory and be a testament of His love and saving grace to others.

Matthew 24:44 admonishes us to BE READY. Can you say that you are ready, not only for the day when we will see the Lord, Jesus Christ, face to face, but also for the perilous times ahead? We may not go through the Tribulation Period, but we will go through some of the “birth pains” prior to it. Look around you, we’ve already stepped through the portal of Matthew 24. The choice is yours to believe it or not, to get prepared or not. (Read God is Building a New Ark on our Embracing Life page and don’t forget to click on the links at the bottom of the article.)

We do not want to be alarmists, but realize there can be serious consequences for not being prepared (including those that befall our children due to our ignorance or lack of action.) Do not be like the ostrich and stick your head in the sand, believing that what you don’t know, won’t hurt you, because it can (and will). Matthew 24:44 Isn’t it always better to “error” on the side of Truth and good judgement? Then, when you’ve done everything you know to do, with God’s help and guidance, enjoy the peace of mind and calm of spirit that follows. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I have so appreciated the insightful philosophy of my 86-year-old mother who truly walks the walk and talks the talk. She determines to live and enjoy each day to the fullest; loving God, loving others, and take as many people to Heaven with her as she can! Don’t you love it?

OPRAH VS. THE BIBLE
This OUTSTANDING ARTICLES page is dedicated to our CCF team. God has gifted them to write and they have a message to share. However, we’d like to also include a video that speaks volumes. We can’t dispute Oprah’s popularity or her humanitarian efforts and realize that many of you might have great respect for her as a person. However, we would be remiss if we didn’t include a video that compares the Truth of God’s Word with what Oprah believes and is sharing with millions. Too many want so badly to believe in someone like Oprah. She’s intelligent, powerful, and “bigger than life”, but they’re being deceived by the very people they admire. So, we’d like to share this with you now. Ultimately, the choice IS YOURS, but, be very certain that you’re choosing that which guarantees Eternal Life with God! It’s a choice that is sealed for all eternity. Once you die, there are no second chances. After seeing the video, seek God’s Word for your own answers and direction. Don’t take it on the word of one solitary woman, Oprah Winfrey. In fact, don’t even take it on our word -- alone -- but test everything you read and hear by the Word of God! It’s TRUTH! 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Also, we would be remiss if we didn’t encourage believers everywhere to pray for Oprah Winfrey, that she would know the Truth of God’s Word and come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
