Here are two opportunities to further God’s Kingdom through prayer and/or financial support. Help these ministries so they can help others. Be a part of the blessing!
JOANNA | CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST
A worldwide, interdenominational Christian ministry committed to showing people how they can know and experience God’s plan for their lives. As the world’s largest Christian ministry, Campus Crusade for Christ serves people in over 191 countries through a staff of 26,000 full-time employees and more than 225,000 trained volunteers working in some 60 niche ministries and projects ranging from military ministry, campus ministry, to inner city ministry.
ALL staff members of Campus Crusade, from top to bottom, rely on outside contributions to do the work God has called them to do. We are focusing on campus ministry. It is here that we see young women (and young men) coming to the saving knowledge of Christ and then, impact their families, their communities, and the world for Him. You may agree, there has never been a greater time than now to reach the youth of America for Christ and they need your help.
Joanna is on our Coffee Cup Friends Prayer Team and an integral part of Campus Crusade for Christ since 1998. She serves at the Great Plains Regional Office in Boulder, Colorado, overseeing training and leadership development for staff and students in a six state region and at their international partnerships. She says, “It’s an exciting responsibility, especially because I help MOBILIZE and EQUIP others to reach the world for Christ.” If you would like to learn more about Joanna and her work with Campus Crusade and how you can help contribute to her on-going work, visit her at: www.joannameyer.ministryhome.org

PIKES PEAK HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Their mission is to follow the example of Jesus Christ by providing simple, decent places to live for families who cannot afford a home by conventional means. They do this through building and rehabilitating houses in partnership with the community and prospective homeowners. All over the world (throughout the year) the church and Habitat for Humanity are working together to build affordable houses with people in need. As a Christian ministry, it is appropriate that the church (Christ’s body in the world) is Habitat’s primary partner in this important work.
Churches of all sizes and denominations have experienced profound blessings by putting their faith into action and building houses in partnership with their brothers and sisters in need. Former President Jimmy Carter has said that if every church and every synagogue built or repaired at least one home, the United States could totally transform the problems of housing and homelessness.
Your volunteer and financial support is making a significant difference for deserving, low-income families who are working hard to achieve their dreams of home ownership. For more information on how you can help this outstanding organization, please contact Jill Wright at 1.719.475.7800 or jill@pikespeakhabitat.org
Remember Jesus’ words when He said, “…when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!” (Matthew 25:40)
